Sam had an AMAZING time at Zee and Pop's! Matt and I are so grateful to them for letting him stay for a visit while daddy recouped from surgery :) Here are some of the pics from his visit

Fall Festival

(Dont you just love Sam's new SQUAT and BEND POSE for the CAMERA ... In every picture... SO FUNNNNY :) We had a blast at the Fall Festival in Lillington today...

Bouncy HOUSES... Train rides and GIANT Inflatable SLIDES ... Even though the heat was Out of CONTROL.... SAM WAS NOT EVEN GONNA SLOW DOWN.... Emma Grace had a front row ride with mama .... and we attempted the trip with no stroller..... which was perfect practice because the crowds werent so crazy and Sam is learning to stay with us and not just go running off and get lost.... (this is VERY HARD for mama because she wants him strapped down with every belt available in a stroller to keep him safe) The best part of this SATURDAY was the nice LONG nap we ALLLLL enjoyed when we got home

Surprise visit :)

Sam NOW believes he is going to SCHOOL :) Zee Zee and Poppy came for a surprise visit today and brought the kids each cool clothes and treats.... SAM is HOOOKED on this backpack thing :) Zee got him a FIREMAN BACKPACK.... PERFECT for alll of his cars and trucks...planes and trains :) Sooooo since they left he has kept it on ALONG with one of dad's hats He LOVES to wear his dads hats

To CRAWL or Not to crawl .... THAT is the questions... It is hard to believe that Miss Emma Grace is up on those knees rockin and ready to go....

Just Mama and ME

Sam and I had a reallly great time after sissy went to bed tonight.... His fine motor skills have ALWAYS amazed me ... he is so quick with his little hands and fingers :) SO we did a little bead stringing (he was as quick as his mama) andmade each other bracelets (he went to bed in his) AND Like always had our LONG storytime before bed... HIS NEW FAVORITE is GOING ON A BEAR HUNT.... He loves to act it out :) I am so happy he loves books as much as Matt and I do.... and even though I detest the shift Matt is working right now (2ish to 12 midnight or later) It is great having Sam to myself (because he is such a daddies boy....) SO what a treat that he was allll about mama... full of HUGS AND LOVE... It makes alll my hair pulling moments melt away when he says MAMA I Love U

Ribbons and BOWS

We aare about to head out to the ALLERGIST in Sanford.... FINGER CROSSSSSSED we have a good visit and figure out when Sam can start treatment..... I honsetly took the pics of Emma Grace because I am DYING to get BOWS IN HER HAIR.... and HONESTLY it looks just plain silly right now... However she is just so darn cute and what is funniest is her brothers NEED to be photographed lately... HE is so sillllly and FUN right now....and HAS MORE ENERGY than the rest of the house.... MARLEY included :) On a side side note....... SOMEONE IS TEEEEEEETTTTTTHHHHING.... and can hardly keep their fingers out of their mouth

Cereal

Emma Grace had her first food experience today... and she LOVED it.... SHe had a giant bowl of cereal ... (OF COURSE... most of it ended up on her and the bib....)

EXPERIMENTING

While Sam and daddy went to MONKEY JOES for a little bouncy house fun..... I am feeling creative this afternoon.... SOOOOOOOOOOOO I MADE.... YES MADE... Pie dough... and created the ALL AMERICAN POT PIE.... Cheeseburger in a pie :) (except shhhhhhhhhh dont tell the hubby I used ground turkey.... topped with chopped pickles... lettuce and some mustard and ketchup... HERES HOPIN it is a new recipe for my little recipe box..... :)

The other night .... VERY LATE.... I heard some chattering and cackling and I walk into Miss Emma Grace's ROOM and she is happy and having her own private crib party... She is such a great baby
