New Nieces, AC MEN and Swollen Eyeballs OH MY

Helllllllo MONDAY.... After a weekend of travels.... (I went to the DASH to get MAR MAR) and spending the weekend at the inlaws due to lack of AC... I currently am sittting here PRAYING to the AC GODS for cooooooolllll air ;) (Just on a little side note REGIS AND KELLY are annnnoyyyying but they are unbearable in the heat) ANYWAY staying with them was the only option wen it is 100+ outside... SO THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT... It has been such a crazy week but the BEST PART THAT MAKES IT ALLLLLL OK ... Check out this precious baby girl... That is my new niece ZADA!!!! We are so excited for Greg and Paula .... AND FOR SAM AND EMMA GRACE TO HAVE A COUSIN..... :) Back to today .... while waiting for the AC GUY ...(AND NO I DIDNT HIT MY KID) Poor Sam had an allergic reaction to something and his eye looks horrible :( NOW **FINGERS CROSSED** for a coooool house and an easy week peeps :)

HOT HOT HOT

IT IS HOT PEOPLE!!! Wellll Mar MAR is home again... I made the 2 hr trip to THE DASH yesterday and got him from Sams godparents... he seemed verrrrrrry happy to get home.... UNFORTUNATELY... when I arrived the AC was out and the house was 80+ degrees so we are currently staying with grandma in Lillington... HOPEFULLY the air man will call tomorrow ... Also keep my hubby in your prayers we think he has kidney stones ... BOOOOOOOOOOO :( He is very under the weather... Emma is a napppppping machine today so hopefully this will continue at our house when we make it back to CASA DE ORRIN COURT ... Sam is at daddies fave place LOWES....

SPOON MAN

Being a mama and a STAY AT HOME ONE at that... It can have it BLAH MOMENTS and what about me me moments... HOWEVER... TODAY when I needed a laugh the most Sam came through.... he walks into the living room from the kitchen and has both hands behind his back ... "whaa han? whaa hann mama?" He whips a hand out before I can answer and shows me the empty one saying "NOOOOO NOOOOOOO.. not herrrreeee" and then in the other a giant soup spoon.... he proceeds to BLOW ON IT and put the thing on his nose.... I havent the faintest idea where he got the idea and who showed him but it was HILARIOUS because he said to me "MAMA TURN" and try asI might I couldnt do it.... Thanks little man for making mamas FRIDAY :)

Sleep

DEAR MR COFFEE.... Please take over my body and make me feel like a new woman... I am so in need of you today and could really use your help in feeling like the energetic mama I am supposed to be.... I will keep visiting you EVERYDAY if you will just give me the little lift I need.... THANKS

How do mamas do this thing everyday running on about 7 hours of interrupted sleep??? Like I am literally up 3-4 times a night.... WHEW! I will get this thing (at least that is what I keep telling myself) Sam is up and ready to take on the world today.. even though he has a fever and sniffles :( Mr. Sam is eating his favorite thing in the world ... and if you know him you know what I am talking about HIS YO (yogurt and applesauce) and watching his morning "stories" OSWALD :) Miss EG is still sleeping!!! I am offff to hang out with sam and "play games" Happpy Thursday and stay cool in this CRAZZZZY HEAT

Lets give this thing a shot....

So I find myself being a bit of a copycat.... I am going to start a little blog about the goings on around here.... Life in the TORREY house is CRAZY right now... I HAVE NO IDEA how my mom kept it together with 3 kiddos... Sam and Emma Grace are both growing so fast... Sam is 3 and everyday is an event with him ... today was our 15th speech session and he is doing SO WELLL.... After a year long process of trying to figure out WHY he isnt talking and when he was talking why we had NO IDEA what he was saying.... Poor FELLA has had 3 major ear cleanings at the ENT since XMAS and I AM OVER IT.... I am hoping for good things and praying Emma Grace doesnt have to go through allll that the little man has.... We got back from the beach on Saturday and I hit the floor running MONDAY MORN with DOC appts for both of the kids (NOTE TO SELF.... NEVER IN LIFE ATTEMPT THAT AGAIN) What an adventure... EG is 13 lb and has grown 3 inches since birth.... SHE IS A BEANSTALK and Sammer is 33 lb and 38 1/2 in MY BIG MAN.... Sooooo tomorrow we head back to speech and Saturday we head to THE DASH to pick up MArley doggie ...
